Exmouth Speed improvers

Are you a 25-35 minute 5k runner? Comfortable with the distance but want to get faster? Then this is the course for you. Inclusive speed interval sessions to get the legs moving and the heart beating faster

Supported long runs

In association with City Runs.

Ideal for anyone who has a spring half marathon, marathon or ultra in the calendar.

Starting in Lympstone village hall, the sessions will be a timed, running along the cycle path. Returning to our base every 30 minutes to regroup, grab a drink, some fuel and an extra layer if needed. We then step out for another block of running. You choose your pace and how many blocks you run for. We prove a base, support through the run, guidance and a sense of community with a common goal.

Strength & conditioning classes for runners

Focusing on increasing strength in muscles specifically used in running, these sessions will help to reduce risk of injury, increase core stability, and develop your running form.

  • When: Every Monday, 6.45-7.45pm

Up your running performance with intense and motivating track sessions. If you are a passionate runner looking for that extra boost then this is the session for you. whether you are a seasoned athlete or a beginner runner wanting to get faster these sessions are specifically designed to help you reach your next level

5k Speed improvers, Exeter

Woodbury Salterton fitness take 2

Lunchtime fitness for the retired who want to stay active. These sessions combine seated and standing exercises adapted to the ability of the individual. We focus on strength, mobility stretching and functional skills. This 45 minute session is followed by a coffee and a chat.

Common Runners - Beginners Group

Interested in giving running a go but not sure where to start? Then join come along to our Common Runners Beginners Group! As well as building your confidence, meeting new people, and exploring different areas of Woodbury Common, you’ll learn all about warming-up, stretching, and pacing.

Run HIIT

Fuel your fitness enthusiasm with our run HIIT sessions. Are you a fitness enthusiast wanting a new challenge or a runner wanting something different to improve your fitness? then look no further, our run HIIT combines the joy of running with weight and equipment based exercise to bring you a unique training session

  • When: Mondays 11-12pm

  • Cost: £7.50 a session or book 5 for 4 block

Woodbury Salterton fitness

Lunchtime fitness for those working from home, retired or stay at home parents. Babies and toddlers welcome. A combination of cardio and strength work, these sessions will help to support fat loss, muscle tone, increased cardiovascular fitness, and a stronger body and mind.

  • When: Tuesdays and Fridays 12-1pm

Common Runners - Improvers Group

Starting to enjoy running and want to get faster? Aimed at those who have had experience of running and can comfortably complete 5km, these guided running sessions across Woodbury Common will develop your knowledge around pacing, hill running, warm-ups and stretching.
